China Council for the Promotion of International Trade welcomes the visit of the Japanese economic community to China

On the evening of January 23rd, the Japanese economic delegation's welcome banquet and the second China International Supply Chain Promotion Expo promotion conference were held in Beijing. Ren Hongbin, President of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Yamato Shikura, President of the Japan Federation of Economic Organizations, and Takashi Kando, President of the Japan China Economic Association, attended the dinner and delivered speeches. Ren Hongbin said that in 2023, the Chinese economy maintained a sustained, stable, and positive overall trend, and the long-term positive fundamentals remained unchanged. The annual GDP growth rate reached 5.2%, ranking among the top among major economies in the world and making outstanding contributions to global economic recovery and growth. China will fully implement the new development concept, accelerate the construction of a new development pattern, promote high-quality development, continue to leverage its advantages of strong innovation ability, broad market, complete infrastructure, complete industrial chain, and abundant and high-quality human resources, expand high-level opening up to the outside world, continue to relax market access, and continue to build a market-oriented, legal, and internationalized first-class business environment.

At the event, Lin Shunjie, Chairman of China International Exhibition Center Group Co., Ltd., introduced the progress of the first Chain Expo and the preparations for the second Chain Expo. He said that as the world's first national level exhibition with supply chain as the theme, the exhibition concept of the first Chain Expo has been widely recognized by enterprises from various countries, and its characteristics and achievements are remarkable. The second Chain Expo will be held from November 26 to 30, 2024, and will still set up five major chains and supply chain service exhibition areas: clean energy chain, smart car chain, digital technology chain, healthy life chain, and green agriculture chain. Special forums and more supporting activities such as investment promotion, supply and demand docking, and new product release will be held around these chains and supply chain service exhibition areas. At the same time, Zhongzhan Group is also studying the feasibility of adding other industrial and supply chain displays to the second Chain Expo, providing more opportunities for domestic and foreign enterprises to make appearances, and making the Chain Expo wider and wider.
China International Exhibition Center Group Co., Ltd. also signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Japan China Economic Association on site.
Director of the Japan China Economic Association, Gao Jianze, stated in an interview with China Trade News that there are many uncertain factors in the current world economy.
