Continuously deepening pragmatic exchanges between the business communities of China and the United States

At the invitation of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the President and CEO of the American Chamber of Commerce, Susanna Clark, and former US trade representative Susan Schwab, led a delegation to visit China from February 27th to 29th. During the visit, the delegation held discussions with Chinese American funded enterprises and relevant industry associations, and met with relevant government department heads.
"Clark's visit aims to promote cooperation between the business communities of China and the United States, understand the latest situation of China's economic development and business environment, which once again proves the high importance and sustained attention of the US business community to the Chinese market." Yang Fan, spokesperson for the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, said at a regular press conference in February.
On February 27th, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade held a work lunch for the visiting delegation of the American Chamber of Commerce to China. Ren Hongbin, President of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, had in-depth exchanges with Clark and his delegation, and representatives of trade promotion agencies and Chinese enterprises from Beijing, Zhejiang, and Henan attended the event.
Ren Hongbin stated that the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade is willing to strengthen communication and contact with the American Chamber of Commerce, conscientiously implement the important consensus of the San Francisco Summit between China and the United States, better play the role of business associations and trade promotion institutions, further deepen practical cooperation in organizing group visits, holding exhibitions and forums, promoting information sharing, and continuously inject stability and positive energy into the economic and trade relations between China and the United States.
Clark stated that China is a market highly valued by American companies, and the American Chamber of Commerce is willing to continue to play its role in supporting American businesses to develop in China, continuously deepening practical exchanges between the business communities of the two countries, and promoting the healthy and stable development of US China relations.
