Promote the joint construction of the "the Belt and Road" between Afghanistan and China to achieve greater results

The initiative of jointly building the "the Belt and Road" is highly consistent with the development strategies of Arab countries, and has a natural appeal to Arab countries

Although Arab countries and China are far apart, friendly exchanges have been ongoing since ancient times, and currently, cooperation is constantly deepening under the tide of economic globalization. More than 10 years after the proposal of the "the Belt and Road" initiative, Arab and Chinese cooperation in various fields has provided important support for the development and revitalization of Arab countries.

The initiative of jointly building the "the Belt and Road" is highly consistent with the development strategies of Arab countries, and has a natural attraction for Arab countries. At present, all 22 Arab countries and the Arab League have signed cooperation documents with China to jointly build the "the Belt and Road". From infrastructure construction to upgrading production equipment, and then to improving logistics and transportation conditions, cooperation in various fields between Arab countries and China is becoming increasingly close. Chinese manufacturing and technology bring huge opportunities for the development of Arab countries.

Kuwait is the first Gulf Arab country to establish diplomatic relations with New China, and also the first Middle East country to sign the cooperation document of jointly building the "the Belt and Road" with China. For a long time, Kuwait and China have supported each other on the path of pursuing development. The two countries have close economic and trade exchanges and frequent people to people and cultural exchanges, laying a solid foundation for the two countries to promote high-quality joint construction of the "the Belt and Road". The cooperation between the two sides aims at mutual benefit and win-win, promoting common development. Taking cooperation in the field of communication technology as an example, Chinese company Huawei has assisted Kuwait in building the first commercial 5G network covering the whole country in the Middle East, building digital infrastructure, and making important contributions to Kuwait's digital transformation and development. Last year, during the visit of then Crown Prince Mishal of Kuwait to China, the leaders of the two countries jointly witnessed the signing of the Joint Statement on the Five Year Plan for Bilateral Cooperation between the People's Republic of China and the State of Kuwait (2024-2028), as well as multiple bilateral cooperation documents in renewable energy, infrastructure construction, environmental governance and other fields, which clearly defined the direction of efforts to strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation between Kuwait and China and promote high-quality joint construction of the "the Belt and Road".


The initiative of jointly building the "the Belt and Road" is widely welcomed internationally, which fully demonstrates that the principle of joint consultation, joint construction and sharing in jointly building the "the Belt and Road" conforms to the requirements of the times. At present, more than 150 countries and 30 international organizations have joined the "the Belt and Road" cooperation, demonstrating the openness and inclusiveness of the initiative. China has so far held three "the Belt and Road" International Cooperation Summit Forums, with a large number of participants and fruitful results, demonstrating the appeal and global influence of the initiative. The reason why the initiative of jointly building the "the Belt and Road" is widely praised is not only because it has a positive impact on the economic and social development of the co building country, but also because it contains profound philosophical ideas. Linking the government's development strategy closely with the needs of the people is precisely the development philosophy that the world needs today.  

Currently, China is accelerating the development of new quality productive forces, and Gulf Arab countries are also promoting diversified economic development. Facing the future, we welcome more powerful Chinese enterprises to participate in the development of Arab countries, and continue to promote the high-quality joint construction of the "the Belt and Road" between Arab countries and China to achieve greater gains.
