"In recent years, bilateral relations between Egypt and China have flourished. Under the strategic leadership of the two heads of state and the promotion of the initiative of jointly building the the Belt and Road, Egypt China mutually beneficial cooperation has yielded fruitful results." Ala Sabit, former chief editor and columnist of Egypt's Al Ahram newspaper, said in an exclusive interview with our reporter a few days ago that Egypt and China both have a long history of splendid civilization and the friendship between the two countries has a long history. "Strengthening cooperation in infrastructure, agricultural technology, renewable energy and other fields between the two countries will help enhance Egypt's endogenous driving force for economic development and better achieve mutual benefit and win-win outcomes."

These projects have injected momentum into Egypt's achievement of the "2030 Vision". "The high-quality joint construction of the the Belt and Road by Egypt and China has improved Egypt's infrastructure level and industrial capacity, promoted the development of Egypt's industry and commerce, and constantly stimulated the innovative spirit of Egyptian enterprises."

Egypt is implementing the "Decent Living" initiative. Sabit said, "The initiative aims to improve the infrastructure and living standards of rural areas in Egypt. Deepening cooperation with China will help further improve the lives of the Egyptian people."
