China's economic upgrading brings more opportunities to the world (International Forum)

In the first half of this year, China's gross domestic product grew by 5% year-on-year, and the overall economic operation remained stable, with new driving forces accelerating growth. Currently, the international situation is turbulent and the recovery of the world economy is weak.  

China has a large industrial scale, a complete system, and strong supporting capabilities, providing a solid foundation for economic operation and development. China attaches great importance to promoting high-quality development through technological innovation. China develops new quality productive forces according to local conditions, continuously optimizes and upgrades its industrial structure, and gives birth to new industries, new models, and new driving forces, further enhancing the endogenous driving force of economic development. During my visit to Chongqing and other places in 2017, I had a detailed understanding of the construction of local smart cities and big data centers, and I have been closely following this ever since. The development and application of digital technology is a microcosm of China's promotion of technological innovation and the development of new quality productivity. China's accelerated development of new quality productive forces will also effectively promote global innovation and development.

China has the advantage of a super large market.   With the steady promotion of comprehensive rural revitalization, the modernization process of agriculture and rural areas in China is accelerating, and the rural consumption market and service consumption market are constantly expanding, providing a broader space for fully leveraging the advantages of the super large scale market. In 2019, I visited multiple villages in Gansu Province and saw the enormous role that e-commerce plays in supporting rural development. China's experience in poverty alleviation and promoting comprehensive rural revitalization is worthy of in-depth learning and reference by all countries.

China is the largest developing country in the world and has always insisted on sharing economic development opportunities with other countries, especially the vast number of developing countries. Over the past 10 years since the "the Belt and Road" initiative was put forward, it has made solid and impressive achievements and has become a popular international public product and international cooperation platform. At present, China has signed cooperation documents with all 22 Arab countries and the Arab League to jointly build the "the Belt and Road". Under the framework of the joint construction of the "the Belt and Road", Afghanistan and China have implemented more than 200 large-scale cooperation projects, and the results of cooperation have benefited nearly 2 billion people of both sides. The volume of trade and two-way investment between Afghanistan and China have achieved significant growth, and win-win development has constantly reached a new level.

The long-term positive trend of the Chinese economy remains stable. China fully leverages its institutional advantages, scientifically formulates development plans and goals, adheres to a step-by-step approach, and promotes the realization of national prosperity, national rejuvenation, and people's happiness. In promoting high-quality development, China attaches great importance to sustainable and balanced development. Although it is inevitable to encounter various challenges, China has the confidence and advantages to continuously achieve economic upgrading and upgrading. China's high-quality development will inject more momentum into the world economic recovery and bring more opportunities for the development of countries around the world.
