On July 29th local time, during the visit of a delegation of Chinese entrepreneurs led by Ren Hongbin, President of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, to the United States, the China US Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum was held in New York. Ren Hongbin, President of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Huang Ping, Consul General of the Chinese Consulate General in New York, Peter Tichanski, President and CEO of the International Understanding Business Council, Wang Zhanghua, President of the Asia US Business Development Center, Declan Daley, CEO of the American International Business Council, Hu Wei, President of the American Chamber of Commerce in China and President of Bank of China in the United States, attended and delivered speeches. More than 300 representatives of Chinese and American enterprises and business associations attended.

Ren Hongbin said that the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the CPC was successfully held, which was an important meeting with worldwide attention and historic significance. The plenum identified more than 300 important reform tasks, covering all aspects of promoting Chinese path to modernization, especially making special arrangements for opening up, and proposed that China will steadily expand its institutional opening up, create a market-oriented, rule of law, and international first-class business environment, and make China's big market a great opportunity in the world. Ren Hongbin pointed out that in the 45 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the United States, economic and trade cooperation, which serves as the "ballast stone" of bilateral relations, has been increasingly deepening. Nowadays, the economies of the two countries are highly complementary and their interests are deeply integrated. Strengthening supply chain cooperation between the two sides is conducive to maintaining stable and smooth global supply chains, injecting more momentum into the economic growth of the two countries, regions, and even the world. The China Council for the Promotion of International Trade will continue to build more friendly communication bridges for the business communities of China and the United States. We also welcome Chinese and American enterprises to make good use of the "Chain Expo" platform, jointly promote supply chain cooperation between China and the United States, and work together to create a stable and smooth global supply chain.   The Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the CPC made it clear that China will continue to implement the policy of opening up to the outside world. American enterprises are welcome to make good use of platforms such as the China International Supply Chain Promotion Expo to tighten practical cooperation ties and inject strong impetus into the stable development of China US relations. Peter Tithansky said that the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the CPC proposed more than 300 reform measures, of which China and the United States have broad space for cooperation in innovation, energy transformation, artificial intelligence, chips, trade and other aspects. I hope to further strengthen cooperation with the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and jointly promote the construction of a safer and more prosperous world. Wang Zhanghua said that he hoped that the Chinese and American business communities would take this forum as an opportunity to jointly address challenges, explore new ways of cooperation and work together to build a prosperous, sustainable and inclusive future. Declan Dali stated that the US International Business Council is willing to deepen cooperation with the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and its branches, and contribute to promoting the positive development of bilateral relations. Hu Wei stated that the US China Chamber of Commerce will continue to promote dialogue, sharing and exchange, creating more opportunities for cooperation between Chinese and American enterprises. He looks forward to participating in the second China International Supply Chain Promotion Expo in Beijing in November this year.
