Forum dialogue seeks new opportunities for cooperation

During the visit to the United States, the business communities of China and the United States held two forums and dialogues in New York and Washington respectively.

On July 29th local time, the China US Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum held by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade was held in New York, bringing together more than 300 representatives from Chinese and US enterprises and business associations. Ren Hongbin stated that economic and trade cooperation is the "ballast stone" of China US relations. In today's highly complementary economy and deep integration of interests between the two countries, strengthening supply chain cooperation between the two sides is conducive to maintaining stable and smooth global supply chains, injecting more vitality into the economic growth of the two countries, regions, and even the world.

Huang Ping, Consul General of the Chinese Consulate General in New York, stated that the Third Plenum of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China has clearly stated that China will continue to implement its policy of opening up to the outside world. He welcomes American companies to make good use of platforms such as the China International Supply Chain Promotion Expo, tighten pragmatic cooperation ties, and inject strong impetus into the stable development of China US relations.

On July 31st local time, the China US Business Roundtable was held in Washington, becoming another highlight of this visit. Representatives of Chinese entrepreneurs, along with representatives from the US China Business Council and several Fortune 500 American companies, gathered together to reach a consensus on how to further promote the deepening of cooperation and docking projects between Chinese and American enterprises, optimize the business environment for foreign investment, and create favorable conditions for cooperation between the two countries' enterprises in areas such as technological innovation, green development, and digital economy.

The visit of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade to the United States not only deepened mutual understanding and trust between the Chinese and American business communities, but also laid a solid foundation for future cooperation between the two sides. Wei Wende, Chairman and CEO of Corning Inc., stated that strengthening cooperation between the Chinese and American business communities is crucial for promoting the stable development of China US economic and trade relations. Corning Inc. firmly believes in the prospects of China's economic development and is willing to continue to deeply cultivate the Chinese market, tell the story of mutual benefit and win-win cooperation between Chinese and American enterprises, and stimulate more positive energy to promote China US economic and trade cooperation.

Miao Zengwei, Vice President of Inner Mongolia Council for the Promotion of International Trade, who accompanied the delegation on the visit, stated that this visit has further expanded cooperation channels, which is conducive to Inner Mongolian enterprises understanding the US market, promoting Inner Mongolian enterprises to "go global" and introduce technology, and achieving mutual benefit and win-win results. In the future, the Inner Mongolia Council for the Promotion of International Trade will further leverage its platform advantages to expand economic and trade cooperation with the United States.

As the world's top two economies, the stability and quality of economic and trade cooperation between China and the United States are directly related to the prosperity and development of the global economy. The visit to the United States organized by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade not only demonstrates the firm determination of the Chinese and American business communities to closely connect and seek common development, but also contributes to the recovery and growth of the global economy. I believe that with the joint efforts of both sides, the business communities of China and the United States will work hand in hand to create a mutually beneficial and win-win future.
