China is willing to strengthen the docking of development strategies with Vietnam, give full play to the role of the mechanism of the China Vietnam bilateral cooperation steering committee, implement the cooperation plan for the joint construction of the "the Belt and Road" initiative and the docking of the "two corridors and one circle" framework, deepen cooperation in connectivity, trade and investment, tourism, medical care, disaster prevention and mitigation, expand cooperation in local currency settlement, expand cooperation in emerging industries such as digital economy and green development, and constantly promote the upgrading of cooperation in all fields.

Fan Mingzheng stated that Vietnam is willing to strengthen multilateral cooperation with China to safeguard the common interests of developing countries. Both sides should implement the high-level consensus of the two parties and countries, adhere to the proper management of differences through friendly consultations, and jointly maintain maritime peace and stability.

According to the Vietnam News Agency, the two prime ministers jointly attended the China Vietnam Entrepreneurs Symposium on the afternoon of the 13th. The report stated that the symposium, with the theme of "strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation and working together to create a better future", will explore each other's potential, advantages, and cooperation needs in infrastructure development and connectivity, energy cooperation, digital transformation, digital economy, banking and finance, and other fields.

According to China UnionPay, the document stipulates to deepen cross-border cooperation in QR code interconnection, promote UnionPay QR code wallets and local Vietnamese wallets to scan and pay on each other's networks, and enhance the cross-border payment experience of Chinese and Vietnamese personnel.

Meanwhile, Vietnam looks forward to exporting more agricultural products to China. On the 13th, Hanoi held a showcase event for Vietnam's characteristic agricultural products exported to China, showcasing a variety of products that meet the preferences and needs of the Chinese market and meet food safety and hygiene requirements, including coffee, tea, durian, bananas, dairy products, and bird's nest. The Vietnamese Ministry of Industry and Trade stated that the comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and China is showing a good development momentum, bringing tangible benefits to both sides.

According to the Vietnam News Agency, the cooperation between China and Vietnam has achieved concrete results in various fields recently. In the first nine months of 2024, bilateral trade volume increased by 21.9%. Tourism cooperation has recovered strongly, with 2.7 million Chinese tourists visiting Vietnam in the first nine months, exceeding the total number of Chinese tourists in 2023.

According to foreign media, China and Vietnam have recently expressed their intention to strengthen railway connections. During Su Lin's visit to China in August this year, China and Vietnam put on the agenda the planning of three Vietnamese standard gauge railways, including Lang Son Hanoi, Mong Jie Ha Long Haiphong, and Lao Cai Hanoi Haiphong.
