Lin Jian stated that President Xi Jinping has just successfully concluded his state visit to Brazil. During the visit, the two heads of state announced that China Pakistan relations would be upgraded to a China Pakistan community of common destiny working together to build a more just world and a more sustainable planet, and at the same time, the "the Belt and Road" initiative would be linked to Brazil's development strategy.

President Xi Jinping and President Lula jointly reviewed the 50 year development of China Pakistan relations and agreed that the relationship between the two countries is currently at its best in history, increasingly demonstrating its global, strategic, and long-term impact, and becoming a model for developing major countries to work together, unite, and cooperate. The enhancement of the positioning of bilateral relations and the alignment of the development strategies of the two countries will undoubtedly promote the continuation of China Pakistan relations, open up the next "golden 50 years", set an example for the unity and self-improvement of countries in the "global South", and make new contributions to enhancing the representation and voice of developing countries in global governance. President Xi Jinping also pointed out that next year marks the 10th anniversary of the official operation of the China Latin America Forum, and China is willing to work with Brazil and other Latin American countries to promote China Latin America cooperation to a new level.

The two heads of state jointly signed the Joint Statement of the People's Republic of China and the Federative Republic of Brazil on Jointly Building a China Brazil Community of Shared Destiny in a More Just World and a More Sustainable Planet, and witnessed the signing of the Cooperation Plan between the Government of the People's Republic of China and the Government of the Federative Republic of Brazil on Joining the "the Belt and Road" Initiative with the "Accelerated Growth Plan", "Brazil's New Industrial Plan", "Ecological Transformation Plan" and "South American Integration Route Plan". During the visit, both sides also signed multiple bilateral cooperation documents.
