Guo Jiakun stated that China and Russia are comprehensive strategic partners of cooperation in the new era. In recent years, under the strategic guidance of the two heads of state, China and Russia have adhered to the spirit of permanent neighborly friendship, comprehensive strategic cooperation, and mutually beneficial cooperation, continuously deepened back-to-back strategic cooperation, expanded practical cooperation in various fields, and made important contributions to promoting the development and revitalization of the two countries and maintaining the basic norms of international relations.

During the visit, Foreign Minister Wang Yi will meet with Russian leaders and hold talks with Foreign Minister Lavrov.
