Continuously Consolidating and Deepening Russia China Relations in the New Era | International Forum

Russia and China are friendly neighbors connected by mountains and rivers, and they are also sincere friends forged into steel. Since the establishment of diplomatic ties more than 70 years ago, the relationship between the two countries has gone through the test of the changes of the times, and has become stronger over time. The two peoples have been sailing together through thick and thin, and have always walked hand in hand.  

  The Russia China relationship is built on the basis of non alignment, non confrontation, and non targeting of third parties. Both sides have found a correct way of getting along and established a new paradigm of major power relations. The cooperation between Russia and China conforms to the fundamental interests of the two countries and the two peoples, and is not affected by changes in the international situation and external interference.

At present, the exchange and cooperation mechanism established between the governments of the two countries is efficient and has achieved significant results, playing an important role in promoting mutually beneficial cooperation in a wider range of fields. In the process of the development of bilateral relations, people to people and cultural exchanges have always been an important link to promote mutual understanding and affinity between the two peoples. In recent years, there have been many highlights of exchanges and cooperation between the two sides in various fields such as education, culture, technology, sports, tourism, media, film, and youth, with richer connotations and forms. Last May, the Russia China Cultural Year officially kicked off, with hundreds of fascinating cultural activities that allowed the people of both countries to experience the profoundness of each other's cultures up close, effectively promoting the traditional friendship between the two sides and passing on the torch of Russia China friendship.

I have worked in China for many years and witnessed the great achievements of Chinese path to modernization. Currently, China is accelerating the construction of a modern industrial system, developing new quality productive forces according to local conditions, and the manufacturing industry is showing a good development trend of high-end, digital, and green development. The prospects for high-quality development are extremely broad. Chinese path to modernization is a modernization that follows the path of peaceful development and is committed to creating more opportunities for the common development of all countries. Countries around the world, including Russia, are looking forward to achieving higher levels of mutually beneficial cooperation in the future by aligning with China's development strategy and super large markets.

This year marks the 80th anniversary of the victory of the World Anti Fascist War and the 80th anniversary of the founding of the United Nations. The current world situation is facing many challenges, with hegemonism, unilateralism, and protectionism rampant, impacting the stability of the international order.  

It is believed that under the joint leadership of the two heads of state, Russia China relations will continue to maintain a high level of operation, constantly reach a new level, and benefit the two peoples and the people of the world.
