Working Together to Build a Bright Future of Prosperity and Development in the Asia-Pacific (International Forum)

For a long time, APEC has adhered to promoting free trade, advancing technological cooperation, and fostering sustainable and inclusive growth, contributing to the shared prosperity and development of the Asia-Pacific region



The international community is currently facing multiple challenges, including adjustments in global industrial and supply chains, climate change, and digital transformation. At this critical juncture, South Korea and China have vast opportunities for cooperation. Particularly in areas such as green transition, technological collaboration, youth exchanges, and cultural interactions, joint efforts between the two nations can not only achieve mutual benefits and win-win outcomes but also contribute to the stable development of Asia and the world. Repeated facts have proven that as long as both sides uphold mutual respect, equality, and win-win cooperation, they can fully realize common development and shared prosperity.

The 32nd APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting will be held in Gyeongju, South Korea. For a long time, APEC has adhered to promoting free trade, advancing technological cooperation, and fostering sustainable and inclusive growth, contributing to a prosperous and developed future for the Asia-Pacific region.

This conference, themed "Building a Sustainable Tomorrow," aims to invigorate regional trade and investment, deepen multi-level exchanges; promote the elimination of the digital divide and foster digital innovation through artificial intelligence collaboration; and jointly address global challenges such as energy, food security, and demographic shifts to advance sustainable, inclusive growth and prosperity in the Asia-Pacific region. The conference serves not only as a crucial platform for discussing economic cooperation and shared development but also as an important opportunity to renew historical ties and forge future partnerships.

Guided by the principles of inclusiveness and shared prosperity, China and other parties in the Asia-Pacific continue to advance regional integration and connectivity. As the most dynamic segment and primary growth engine of the global economy, the Asia-Pacific region's ability to uphold the spirit of cooperation, work together, and achieve mutual gains in the face of global challenges is crucial to the future development of both the Asia-Pacific and the world. We hope this meeting will further build consensus, deepen solidarity and cooperation, yield positive outcomes, and make greater contributions to peace and prosperity in Asia and the world.
