"Today, the harvest market in China's major chestnut production areas is good, but due to the impact of the post-epidemic period, there are still a small amount of chestnuts in stock last year, and some enterprises worry that the epidemic will still occur in the winter, which to some extent affects the enthusiasm of receiving goods." In the 2019 season, the unsold chestnuts are mainly in the hands of enterprises, while the 2020 season may see chestnut stocks in the hands of chestnut farmers, Cao said.
