This is the biggest case of intellectual property infringement seized by Beijing customs so far this year, involving 18 brands including "GUCCI", "LV", "CHANEL", "Adidas" and "Ray·Ban". It is understood that these are the brands that have put on record in the General Administration of Customs the right to exclusive use of trademarks.

On September 30, the Beijing Customs, after scientific investigation and precise control, seized a major case of suspected infringement of intellectual property rights by the customs of the capital Airport, and seized more than 60,000 pieces of goods. The goods were declared for export by a company in Linyi with the name of receiving bag, switch box, women's jacket, etc., and the declared value was obviously lower than the market price of the genuine goods with mixed packing of many kinds of commodities and various brands.

After a full day's count by more than 10 customs inspectors at the airport, a total of more than 60,000 pieces of glasses, leather bags, clothing, sports shoes and other items were seized, which were suspected of violating the trademark rights of "GUCCI", "LV", "CHANEL", "Adidas", "Ray·Ban" and other items that had been filed with the General Administration of Customs.

Through the establishment of a special area for disposal and the establishment of commodity ledger, centralized, informationalized and transparent disposal can be realized to help intellectual property right holders to protect their rights quickly.

So far this year, Beijing customs has seized five cases of intellectual property infringement and detained 16,000 items including fake "Millet" headphones, "Shang Chai" auto parts and "Douyin" clothing, Cao said.
