According to statistics from Alibaba International, India, the United States and Pakistan were the top three major sources of buyers in the agricultural industry in 2019. The top three international markets for Chinese agricultural products are nuts and dried fruits, edible oils and animal products.
The report shows that the characteristic sketch category will become the key breakthrough point for the export of agricultural products. Popular items include mushrooms, coconut oil and fresh garlic, which increased nearly four times. Cheng yuan, the "Internet king of garlic" in shandong province, has recently sold jinxiang garlic to 35 countries and regions, and is now worth more than 100 million yuan. Seventy percent of his overseas customers come from alibaba's international site. Under his leadership, jinxiang villagers can increase their income by more than 30,000 yuan per household every year.
It is worth mentioning that during the Purchasing festival in September, Alibaba International website launched the first cross-border live broadcast of agricultural products in the world. Yasheng Group is one of the businesses participating in the live broadcast.
