China News Agency, Geneva, April 1 - the 49th session of the United Nations Human Rights Council adopted a resolution on the promotion and protection of economic, social and cultural rights and the elimination of inequality jointly submitted by China, Pakistan, Egypt, South Africa and Bolivia on April 1, with the participation of 66 countries.
The resolution novel coronavirus pneumonia has caused global development to retrogress, increase poverty, and express serious concern about inequality between countries and countries. The resolution also welcomes development initiatives that contribute to the implementation of the 2030 agenda for sustainable development.
