China's import and export of services increased by 33.5% year-on-year (new data and new highlights)

From January to February this year, China's service trade maintained a good growth trend. The total import and export of services was 953.48 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 33.5%; Among them, the export of services was 467.58 billion yuan, an increase of 39.4%; Imports reached 485.9 billion yuan, an increase of 28.3%. The growth rate of service exports was 11.1 percentage points higher than that of imports.
Trade in knowledge intensive services grew steadily. From January to February, the import and export of knowledge intensive services reached 382.4 billion yuan, an increase of 17.9%. Among them, the export of knowledge intensive services was 219.69 billion yuan, an increase of 20.3%; The areas with rapid export growth were intellectual property royalties, telecommunications, computer and information services, and other commercial services, up 72.1%, 25.7% and 17.1% respectively. The import of knowledge intensive services was 162.71 billion yuan, an increase of 15%; The area with rapid import growth was insurance services, with a growth rate of 124.9%.
The import and export of travel services have recovered. From January to February, China's import and export of travel services reached 149.77 billion yuan, an increase of 16.9%, of which the import increased by 19.1%.
