China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, on behalf of the Chinese government, signed the exhibition contract for the 2025 Osaka World Expo in Japan

On April 27th, the signing ceremony of China's exhibition contract for the 2025 Osaka World Expo was held in Osaka, Japan. Zhang Shenfeng, the General Representative of the Chinese Pavilion Government and Vice President of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade at the Osaka World Expo, and Ishikawa Hiroshi, the Director General of the Japan World Expo Association in 2025, respectively signed the exhibition contract on behalf of both China and Japan. Chinese Consul General Xue Jian attended the signing ceremony in Osaka.

Zhang Shenfeng said at the meeting with Shi Maobo that the theme of the China Pavilion is "jointly building a community of human and natural life - a future society of green development", focusing on green and low-carbon development, fully demonstrating Chinese culture, unique concepts of originating from nature, conforming to nature, and living in harmony with nature, effective biodiversity management, and the carbon neutrality action plan of carbon peak, Implementing the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and addressing climate change through South-South cooperation, showcasing China's unremitting efforts to work together with countries around the world to build a community with a shared future for mankind.
The Chief Executive of Shimao Expo gave a positive evaluation of China's exhibition work. He thanked China for its strong support for the Osaka World Expo and hoped to deepen exchanges and cooperation between China and Japan in various fields such as culture, economy and trade through the platform of the Osaka World Expo. He looked forward to China fully demonstrating its achievements in green development.
The 2025 Osaka World Expo in Japan will be held from April 13 to October 13, 2025, with the theme of "envisioning a vibrant future society". The organizers predict that 150 countries and 25 international organizations will participate and over 28 million visitors will visit.
