China Vietnam Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum Held

On June 28th, the China Vietnam Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum was held in Beijing. Business representatives from the infrastructure, agriculture, energy, manufacturing, finance and other fields of China Vietnam gathered together for in-depth exchanges on bilateral economic, trade and investment issues, and jointly discussed plans for cooperation between the business communities of China Vietnam in the new era.
Prime Minister of Vietnam Pham Myung Jung attended the forum and delivered a speech. He stated that Vietnam and China are connected by mountains and rivers, and are close economic and trade partners. Vietnam will continue to actively participate in the joint construction of the "the Belt and Road", deepen cooperation in various fields, and promote the continuous development of Vietnam China relations.
During his speech at the forum, Ren Hongbin, President of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, stated that in recent years, under the joint efforts and strategic guidance of the leaders of China and Vietnam, the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Vietnam has flourished, and the economic and trade relations between the two countries have been continuously deepened. The level of bilateral trade, production capacity cooperation, and infrastructure connectivity has been continuously improved, bringing tangible benefits to the people of both countries.
Vietnamese Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi yong stated that Vietnam and China have strong economic and trade complementarity, and further expanding trade and investment cooperation will achieve mutual benefit and win-win results. At the same time, Vietnam will continue to improve its business and investment environment, creating a more favorable environment for enterprise development. Both companies will strengthen communication and cooperation, and will continue to consolidate and deepen the comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and China.
Representatives of participating enterprises believe that the momentum of economic and trade cooperation between China and Vietnam is good, and there is great potential for cooperation between the two countries in fields such as electronic technology and infrastructure construction. In the future, the business community should work together to promote China Vietnam economic and trade cooperation to a new level.
Ren Hongbin stated that in recent years, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and relevant Vietnamese counterparts have worked together to actively promote economic and trade exchanges between the two countries, tap into cooperation potential, promote stable and smooth industrial and supply chains, and assist in regional economic recovery and development. Next, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) will fully leverage its functions of connecting government and enterprises, integrating internal and external resources, and facilitating supply and demand. It will organize a dense network of service enterprises, expand its international circle of friends, and take the full implementation of RCEP as an opportunity to promote the construction of version 3.0 of the China ASEAN Free Trade Area. This will build more platforms and provide more opportunities for the business community of China and Vietnam to expand economic and trade exchanges and cooperation.
It is reported that in September this year, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade will hold the 20th China ASEAN Business and Investment Summit in Nanning, Guangxi, during which a round table dialogue between Vietnamese leaders and Chinese enterprise CEOs will be held to help accelerate the implementation, quality and upgrading of key projects of China Vietnam economic and trade cooperation.
