Hand in hand, hand in hand, move forward side by side, and jointly build the "the Belt and Road" with high quality

Over the past 10 years, the joint construction of the "the Belt and Road" has been steadily advancing in Egypt with fruitful results, benefiting both sides. Since my mission to Egypt, I have had extensive contacts and exchanges with Egyptian political, business and academic circles, and personally felt the high appreciation and support of all sectors of Egypt for jointly building the "the Belt and Road".
Under the leadership of the leader, we will create a "development belt".     In April 2019, when attending the second "the Belt and Road" International Cooperation Summit Forum, President Abdel Fattah al Sisi said that the "the Belt and Road" construction involves many industries and fields, which are also the top priority of Egypt's 2030 sustainable development vision. The "the Belt and Road" construction is consistent with Egypt's efforts to prioritize economic development, promote industrialization, strengthen economic and trade cooperation, close commercial exchanges and financial integration, and promote people to people and cultural exchanges.  

Pragmatic cooperation creates a "happy path". China and Egypt have actively worked together to build the "the Belt and Road" and successfully carried out a large number of mutually beneficial and win-win cooperation projects to create benefits for the two peoples. The central business district of Egypt's new administrative capital, built by Chinese enterprises, has risen from the desert; The first electrified light rail railway in Africa was officially put into operation on the 10th of Ramadan, providing convenient transportation for nearly 5 million residents along the line; The Chinese government has successfully delivered the prototype of Egypt's second satellite, helping Egypt achieve its "space dream"; The livelihood water conservancy project built by Chinese enterprises in Siva, Egypt, is known as the "timely rain" in the Sahara Desert. Siva people often come to the construction site to give food and water to the Chinese drilling crew... The vivid practice of jointly building the "the Belt and Road" is the most vivid annotation of China Egypt comprehensive strategic partnership.

Intersect with sincerity and build a "bridge of people's hearts". China and Egypt continue to strengthen friendly exchanges between the people, enhance mutual understanding and traditional friendship. The two sides formed 17 pairs of friendly provinces and cities, with hundreds of thousands of people coming and going frequently every year. In September 2022, the pilot project for Chinese language education in Egyptian secondary schools was launched, marking the entry of Chinese language teaching into the Egyptian national education system. At present, there are 12 public high schools in Egypt carrying out Chinese language education, nearly 30 universities offering Chinese language majors, and 4 Confucius Institutes, 2 Confucius Classrooms, and 2 Luban Workshops have been built. The "Chinese fever" and "Chinese culture fever" continue to heat up in Egypt. Not long ago, the painting "China is the Hope for Africa to Realize the Aerospace Dream" created by Egyptian youth won the "Tianhe" award in the African Youth "My Dream" themed painting competition, and arrived at the Tiangong Space Station with the Shenzhou 16 manned spacecraft. These all fully confirm that the strongest foundation of mutual understanding between China and Egypt lies in cultural exchanges and mutual learning, and the deepest strength of China Egypt cooperation lies in the mutual understanding of the people.
Egypt is the headquarters of the Arab League. The first China Arab Summit successfully held last year was China's largest and most standardized diplomatic action towards the Arab world since the establishment of the People's Republic of China. At this summit, both China and Arab countries agreed to fully build a community with a shared future for the new era. Secretary General Gheit of the Arab League said that initiatives such as the "the Belt and Road" have been widely welcomed and supported by the Arab world.   China has signed cooperation documents with 21 Arab countries and the Arab League to jointly build the "the Belt and Road", and has been the largest trading partner of Arab countries for many years. The two sides have implemented more than 200 large-scale cooperation projects in energy, infrastructure and other fields, and the results of cooperation have benefited nearly 2 billion people of both sides.
Looking forward to the future, China will work with Egypt and other Arab countries to forge ahead hand in hand and heart, jointly build the "the Belt and Road" with high quality, and jointly create a better future for China Egypt and China Arab relations.
