Foreign Ministry responds to reports of attacks on Chinese companies in Kuwait: No Chinese citizens were affected.

Following reports that a Chinese company's building in Kuwait was attacked, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning stated at a regular press conference on the 31st that, after verification, no Chinese citizens were affected by the attack. After the incident, the Chinese Embassy in Kuwait immediately reminded Chinese citizens and institutions in Kuwait to raise their risk awareness and strengthen security precautions, while contacting relevant Kuwaiti departments to request effective measures to ensure the safety of Chinese-funded institutions in Kuwait. China considers any attack on innocent civilians and non-military targets unacceptable and calls on all parties concerned to exercise restraint, continue to properly resolve conflicts and differences through dialogue and consultation, and promote the early restoration of peace and stability in the Gulf region.
